LESCO Protected Users
Consumers who consistently consume up to 200 units of electricity per month for six consecutive months are classified as protected consumers. This category enjoys a very low tariff that remains unaffected by any increase in electricity prices.
Protected users benefit from special privileges, including exemption from quarterly fuel price adjustments.
LESCO Unprotected Users
Consumers who use more than 200 units per month fall into the unprotected category. They are subject to higher electricity charges and increased unit rates, which rise further as consumption increases.
Unprotected consumers also pay fuel price adjustments every quarter, along with additional taxes included in the electricity bill.
